Seeker Quiet is designed to do one job locally, without building a profile about you.
What Seeker Quiet collects
Seeker Quiet does not require an account and does not include advertising, analytics, tracking SDKs or publisher-operated telemetry. The publisher does not collect your identity, contacts, precise location, media activity or audio content through the app.
Data stored on your device
The app stores your selected attenuation level, Quiet Mode state information needed to keep the app, service and Quick Settings tile coherent, and interface preferences. This data stays in the app’s local Android storage and is removed when you clear the app’s data or uninstall it.
Android permissions and audio information
- Audio settings: used to apply and safely manage the Quiet Mode audio effect.
- Notifications and foreground service: used to show the required silent, ongoing notification while Quiet Mode is active.
- Internet: used only for the optional tip flow described below.
The app observes Android playback configuration only to temporarily restore normal gain for critical alarms, notifications and ringtones. It does not record, capture, transmit or analyze the sound you play.
Optional Solana tips
If you choose to send a tip, Seeker Quiet contacts Solana mainnet’s public RPC service to prepare and confirm the transaction, then opens a compatible wallet through Mobile Wallet Adapter for your review and approval. The app may temporarily receive the public account address selected by your wallet and the resulting public transaction signature to complete that flow.
Seeker Quiet never receives, generates, stores or transmits your private key or seed phrase. Wallet approval happens in your chosen wallet. Confirmed transfers, public addresses and transaction details are recorded on the public Solana blockchain and cannot be deleted by the publisher.
Sharing and retention
The publisher does not operate a server that receives personal data from the app and does not sell personal data. Network requests made during an optional tip may be processed by the public Solana RPC endpoint and by your wallet provider under their own terms and privacy practices. Temporary transaction data held in app memory is not retained by the publisher after the flow ends.
Children
Seeker Quiet is not directed to children and the publisher does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
